Boom Technology has unveiled a prototype of a jet it says will be the world’s fastest passenger aircraft.
The ‘Baby Boom’ picks up from where the Concorde left off about 13 years ago. This Concorde-style jet will offer passengers to travel from New York to London in about three-and-a-half hours.
The jet has a cruising speed of Mach 2.2 (approximately 1,451 miles per hour), which is 10 percent faster than the Concorde’s speed of Mach 2.
The price from New York to London? About $5,000 per ticket.

What’s the Jet Fuel mileage on that?
Now that’s funny.
I had the great zechus to have flown the concorde twice in my life as a kid and whose father was a frequent flyer, its a waste of money unless you really must fly.
Its very uncomfortable seating, narrow as can be, even though its all first class cannot say it wasnt cool.
