Newly-reelected Jackson Councilman Mordy Burnstein and Ocean Commissioner Frank Sadeghi took a tour of South New Prospect Road in Jackson to see the progress first hand and to further discuss the project.

The heavily-traveled road is currently undergoing widening and other improvements.

  1. They left no shoulder, no room to walk or cross and there is no sidewalk. A heavily used pedestrian area. I am hoping this walkthrough with photos was to see the issue and provide a fix.

  2. It was not widened.
    Just resurfaced and restriped.
    Added in some turning lanes-brilliant
    Took away shoulders in spots where there is no sidewalk-dangerous
