Police believe a vehicle found in flames over the weekend was an act of arson, sources tell TLS.

The vehicle was sitting at a construction site, when an arsonist reportedly torched it early Shabbos morning.

The Lakewood Fire Department was notified, and upon arrival found the vehicle engulfed in flames, the construction company tells TLS. The vehicle, and material it contained, were completely destroyed.

Police visited the vehicle’s owner, who said the vehicle had no mechanical issues, the company said.

The incident is sunder investigation.
