PHOTOS: Over 1,000 Attend Chai Lifeline Purim Party

cllPHOTOS: Over 1000 people experienced the magic of Chai Lifeline last night at the annual Pre-Purim Carnival in Ateres Reva Hall.

The party is the highlight of the year for Chai Lifeline children, most of whom arrived in costume, and were greeted by a gala carnival organized by Sara Younger of Playland Parties.

Carnival activities included two enormous bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, and many carnival booths. The magical décor was designed and executed by Chavi Chase of Pret-a-Partee.

Families were served a full fleishig buffet, generously sponsored by Dalgar Caterers, with hamentashen and desserts from Shapiro’s bakery.

The program began with an enthralling show by world-famous mentalist David Blatt, followed by everyone’s favorite uncle- lively entertainment by Uncle Moishy. For the 11th year, Dovid Gabay graced the stage with his presence, revving up the ruach and enthusiasm.

The program continued with a surprise appearance of musical superstar Michoel Pruzansky, while Chai Lifeline volunteers engaged the children in spirited dancing and singing. Every child left with their own door prize, lots of nosh, and a warm feeling of belonging.

  1. Wow. Kudos to Chia lifeline.

As a volunteer, I was always under the impression that these party’s are just as confidential as any other service provided by Chia lifeline.

I can’t understand how pictures and videos are posted here on a public site.

  2. WOW! That carnival looked like loads of fun. How does one get in touch with the organizer? That would be a great idea for my grandson’s upsherin! Maybe they have activities for younger children too. Uncle Moishe too. Chai Lifeline definitely arranged something amazing.

  3. As a volunteer of Chai Lifeline for many years, I have gone through rigorous training in confidentiality, and I know that only photos of families who give consent can be released in public. I am sure that if these pictures were posted they were approved.
I was at the party on Wed, and personally witnessed the smiles on the children’s faces which was mirrored on the faces of their parents!
    Chai Lifeline, you are amazing!
