The recently upgraded helipad at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick was dedicated this past weekend as the new home base for the Hackensack Meridian Health Air Medical Program ‘Air Med Two’ helicopter.

‘Air Med Two,’ which is equipped with a medical flight crew and the latest technology and equipment equal to that of the most sophisticated intensive care unit, provides central transport access to the appropriate level of emergency and critical care within the region.

Celebrating with hospital dignitaries and local first responders were Brick Township Mayor Lisa Crate, Council President Vince Minichino, and members of the aircraft operator Air Methods Corporation.
