Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastornardy was sworn in last week, along with a new second undersheriff.

Mastronardy, the former Toms River Police Chief, was sworn into a second term.

Named as a second undersheriff, was retired Brick Police Chief Nils Bergquist.

Until now, there was only one Undersheriff, Brian Klimakowski. Kilmakowski will reportedly oversee operations, and Bergquist will reportedly lead an administrative role.
