PHOTOS: NJSP, Local Police Bring Awareness to Teens in ‘Project Crash’ Presentation

6The New Jersey State Police, Jackson and Lakewood Police Departments today took park in ‘Project Crash’ – demonstrating the dangers of driving distractions.

The event, which took place at the Liberty High School, heightens awareness to the dangers of drinking and driving, as well as using drugs and texting while driving.

The drill demonstrated a serious crash, in which patients needed to be airlifted to the hospital via the waiting chopper.

  1. so lakewood police participated in the event which is in jackson township but not one EMS or Fire agency from Lakewood was there to particiapte

  2. what a good drill they should have warned all the neighbors that they are doing it. I walked out of my house and heard screaming for help. Besides every friday night they make concerts and dont let us go to sleep normaly.
