PHOTOS: Biker fleeing NJSP on Parkway prompts search by Chopper, local Authorities; Biker turned himself in

[PHOTOS BELOW] [UPDATED] As first reported on our news alerts (@LakewoodScoop), local and State police – with the assistance of a chopper – are searching in Lakewood for a biker who reportedly fled from police on the Garden State Parkway.

The chopper was seen overhead around 6:30 PM in the area of exit 91 to Ridge Avenue and County Line Road where the biker allegedly fled towards.

Lakewood and Howell Police units were also searching for the biker, and ended up coming across the bike but not the rider. The vehicle is being impounded.

UPDATE: Officials tells TLS the biker turned himself in to police.
