I would strongly suggest that everyone in that development have their decks professionally inspected.I would suggest people in every development at least do a visual inspection of the underside of the deck: check the hardware bolting the deck to the structure, the joists supporting the flooring, the connection of the main beams to the 4×4 posts and the posts connection to the foundation (concrete piers, eg.)
