PHOTOS: National Guard Troops Depart Lakewood

PHOTOS: The National Guard Troops who were in Lakewood for the weekend, are headed back to their base Sunday. The approximately twenty five Military Troops were on hand to assist local Authorities with additional security and patrol over the weekend.

The National Guard was also on hand for many other municipalies and cities throughout New Jersey assisting with the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane.

  1. @CYNIC, you really need to just shut your mouth. The troops assisted in patrolling the town as an extra show of security, assisted with the obvious traffic issues, helped people in need of food and other necessities, among other things. So, before you go trying to act tough with your comment, a simple THANK YOU would have been nice!!!!

  2. Seriously? Some of this comments are so wrong!!! Be thankful that they were here!!! Have some respect for them and appreciate the fact that they took the time away from their base to help!! Shame on you for making those ignorant comments!!
