In an effort to bring smiles to children of Misameach, Home Depot sponsored a menorah-making event at one of their local branches this week.
With supplies provided by Home Depot, every participant created their own beautiful menorah. The project was led by Rabbi Hillel Yarmove.
Participants also enjoyed a hot dinner, as well as entertainment by the legendary Turx.
“Each child went home thrilled with his creation and on a high from the exciting spirit of the event,” said Lipa Schwartz, the founder of Misameach.
“Misameach would like to thank Teresa, manager of Home Depot and the wonderful staff of Home Depot for sponsoring this evening. We would also like to think Rabbi and Mrs. Carlebach for their guidance and all of the volunteers who gave up their time for this memorable event.”
