The Lakewood Police Department, Lakewood Cert (Community Emergency Response Team), Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and the Lakewood Emergency Management joined together and teamed up for a one-night Basic Self Defense course for Women.
The approximately two-hour long courses, held at the Ocean County Police Academy, consisted of class room power point and hands-on techniques.
