PHOTOS: LPD Hosts Soup Kitchen and Coat Drive

On November 16th, the Town Square came alive with warmth and generosity as the Lakewood Police Department and Lakewood Community Coalition, in partnership with Calvary Lighthouse, JBJ Soul Kitchen, hosted a heartwarming Soup Kitchen and Coat Drive.

“Thanks to our incredible community, over 500 coats were distributed to those in need, and countless bowls of delicious soup were served to keep spirits high on a windy day,” police said. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, or came by to share in the spirit of giving. Together, we are making a real difference. Let’s keep building a more compassionate and caring community. Thank you for making this event such a success!”
