PHOTOS: LPD and GCU team up to stuff Teddy Bears for Domestic Violence victims

The Lakewood Police Department and Georgian Court University Student Government Association teamed up this week to stuff teddy bears in support of Domestic Violence month.

LPD’s Domestic Violence liaisons to GCU, Officers Mike Dennis and Stephanie Campbell helped the students stuff the animals at the school on Wednesday, and are in the midst of preparing the toys for distribution.

In total, the GCU Student Government Association donated approximately 100 stuffed animals to the police department for the officers to distribute to children that have been involved in Domestic Violence situations.

Accepting the donations, were Chief Greg Meyer, Captain Steve Allaire, Officer Mark Zrebiec, Officer Jason Yahr, Officer Michael Dennis Jr, and Officer Stephanie Campbell.
