PHOTOS: LFD Finds Stolen Car on Fire in Pine Acres

22PHOTOS: At about 1 AM this morning, the Lakewood Police Department responded to Pine Acers Boulevard for a vehicle fire.

Upon arrival they observed a 2007 Pontiac G6 fully engulfed in flames.

The Lakewood Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

It was determined that the vehicle had been stolen from Hamilton Avenue in Toms River on January 24, 2014.

2The owner parked the car in front of his house the night before and noticed that it was missing when he woke. Inside of the vehicle at the time of the theft were two sports memorabilia collectables. Stolen was a Tony Romo plaque as well as an autographed Michael Irvin Photograph, police say. The value of these was $400. [TLS]
