On Tuesday, Chaim Brodt of Stems was presented with a plaque by Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer thanking him for his assistance during a recent tragedy.
After the tragic death of Nick Shimonovich, Brodt and his company immediately put forth their resources to ensure a safe and respectable funeral was planned, all at no charge to the Department.
“Words cannot express our appreciation for the extraordinary generosity and kindness during our time of need,” said Police Chief Greg Meyer. “It means a lot to the department.”
Community Affairs Liaison Ben Inzelbuch said, “the out-pouring of support from the community was heartwarming – it highlights the great relationship and respect the police and community have for each other.
The plaque was presented to Brodt by Chief Meyer, Lieutenant LeRoy Marshal, and Ben Inzelbuch.
