Despite the freezing temperatures, Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer along with some officers from the PBA Local 71, drove around town to personally deliver Holiday gifts to dozens of underprivileged families.
After spending hours wrapping the donated gifts and toys for all ages, the PBA officers made their way to some 40 families, delivering approximately 150 presents in an effort to add some joy to the Holiday.
“There’s nothing more satisfying than cheering up families during the Holiday season,” says Chief Meyer. “And we could not have done this without the help from the officers and others who volunteered their time off to the cause.”
