At tonight’s Board of Fire Commissioners meeting, David Wolf was sworn in as Deputy Chief.
Chief Wolf is taking over the position from Chief Steven Mulholland, who has held the position for the last 6 years.
“It has been my honor serving as Battalion Chief these past two years,” Wolf said.
Wolf added, “I would like to thank my fellow Firefighters for giving me the opportunity to serve the fire department and the Lakewood community for another term as Deputy Chief.”
Deputy Chief Wolf has been a volunteer with the Lakewood Fire Department since 2011 and was promoted to Battalion Chief in 2020.
The Deputy Chief is the highest volunteer position in the Department after Chief Yahr was hired in 2020 as Chief of Department.
