PHOTOS: Lakewood Fire Commissioner Moshe Raitzik and New Volunteer Firefighter Sworn in

At this evening’s Lakewood Fire Commissioner meeting, Moshe Raitzik was sworn in as a fire commissioner after defeating incumbent Larry Loigman in November.

The Board also held its reorganization of positions, which are as follows:

  • Chairperson: Commissioner Yakov Steinberg
  • Vice Chairperson: Commissioner Harrison Pfeffer
  • Clerk: Commissioner Dovid Bender
  • Treasurer: Commissioner Yehuda Gold
  • Commissioner at Large: Commissioner Moshe Raitzik

Harrison Pfeffer will also serve as liaison to the Township Committee and Yakov Steinberg will serve as liaison to the Fire Chief.

Also at tonight’s meeting, the Board swore in volunteer firefighter Leah Shain, who will attend the fire academy beginning in January.
