Lakewood Extrication Rescue Team over the past few months held a series of training sessions.
The team has been concentrating on motor vehicle extrication, as well as training for industrial and heavy machinery accidents.
They have also been further developing advanced techniques to prepare for other challenging rescue scenarios that may arise.
If they could only teach me how to extricate my Lulav from its plastic sleeve without stabbing myself I’d send a donation.
There will be a Lulav extraction course starting mid Elul. The course will cover various lulav extraction techniques. Among other things, course attendees will learn how to differentiate between a dull-edged Lulav and a sharped-edged Lulav, which needs to be extracted in a more careful and steady manner to avoid potential stabbing of the skin. Job opportunities for those who take this course are limitless. Lulavim and esrogim sellers are looking for trained employees – to join their sales departments – who can safely extract lulavim from their plastic sleeves before the Lulavim are displayed to potential buyers. EMS providers are always looking for expert Lulav extractors who can teach the art of Lulav extraction to patients who’ve been accidentally stabbed by their own lulavim during the pre-davening and mid-davening Lulav-extraction process. Course materials and study aids, like Lulavim, Esrogim and Koisheles, will be provided to course attendees free of charge. Seating for this exclusive Lulav extraction course is limited, so make sure to reserve yourself a spot as soon as possible.
May we all merit to have a happy and safe-Lulav-extraction holiday.
How about a course in How to drive safely?
Can we call it a Crash Course?😂
