So let’s build more! I think at this point the only solution to the traffic is to just build houses the middle of the streets like this there won’t be anywhere to drive
the rudeness of drivers and pedestrians in this community is the cause of so many accidents. many drivers dont bother to signal a turn. i’ve seen cars force their way into a line of cars taking the right of way away from other drivers in a very dangerous manner. people walk around at night without reflectors and then wonder why the car coming down the street had to stop short causing a pile-up of cars behind the first one whose driver was scared out of his wits that he almost hit someone chas v’shalom–i could go on and on.

Every person agrees that it is a major problem here. It won’t get solved until we have 2 things:
1) Enough pavement for all the vehicles
2) A strong dose of Patience!
These are knee jerk reactions. While all the above is true, this incident took place on Oak and New Hampshire. Not a spot mirroring Lakewood’s traffic situation.
things are climbing out of control as the ny newcomers are not able to control their old habits

Actually, a real concern is how fast and reckless some people drive through developments! I have personally witnessed a near miss of a speeding car and a six year old boy running into the street. Why do we have to wait רח״ל for a tragedy to wake up?!
