PHOTOS: Jewish Business Leaders meet with Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop

f1By: Ezra Friedlander. Recently, a new business networking venture serving the Jewish community was founded by a young dynamic community activist by the name of David Rosenberg.

The Hudson County Jewish Business Alliance was established to create a network of Jewish businesses in Hudson County and forge a strong relationship with elected officials. In the short period of time since its establishment, they already realized much positive feedback from both ends– beyond expectations.

Its most recent networking session was held at the headquarters of Fabuwood, based in Jersey City, and featured the participation of numerous commercial and business enterprises where its mayor Steven Fulop was honored.

“Working with our small businesses is one of the ways we will ensure Jersey City continues to grow and advance,” said Mayor Steven Fulop, who is considered a rising star in New Jersey politics. “It was a productive meeting and a great opportunity to get to know many of our local business owners and listen to their ideas.”

According to Michael Panzer CEO, Fabuwood “An ideal business environment is not possible without the direction of a great leader. Jersey City has been blessed with one of the finest mayors in the country. Under the leadership of Mayor Steven Fulop, Jersey City serves as an environment conducive to economic growth. It is therefore a great honor for us to welcome Mayor Fulop to Fabuwood today.”

In summery said David Rosenberg, founder of the HCJBA “the goal of the Hudson County Jewish Business Alliance is to encourage and foster business and economic opportunities for members of our community by allowing them to dialogue with elected officials at every level of government which is key to creating jobs for our youth.”

  1. Maybe you should start talking right h ere in Lakewood. What is important to Jersey City is not important to our town? Do what is good for Lakewood. We live in Lakewood, not Jersey City.

  2. The article says “Hudson County” to answer question by “Judie”.

It is not looking to focus on this area.
Maybe because there are other org. focusing their resources here already.
