UPDATED: Hundreds pack High School auditorium for BOE meeting; No budget in place to vote on (PHOTOS)

Hundreds have packed the Lakewood High School auditorium tonight for the Board Of Education meeting, prompting the opening of a satellite location for the overflow crowd.

As earlier reported, they Board will not be voting on the budget tonight.

The confirmation announcement came from State Monitor David Shafter, who stated there was no budget in place to be voted on, as the State has not yet come through with the $10,000,000 loan.

The Board is however expected to announce the contract termination for over 100 staff members due to the approximate $15 million deficit.

  1. Stop the hate and ignorance! The anti-semitic slurs I heard tonight at the board meeting, a public forum, had no place in American society. Throwing insults at “the Jews” and at “Y’all” will not save the public school system.

It seems that he thinks that he’ll look successful in the state in doing his “job.”
So far he’s cost the district his salary for several years and taken up space, and using up good oxygen in the air from the Lakewood students. He 100% a Waze of
