A groundbreaking ceremony for a major building complex was held Thursday in Lakewood.

The professional center being constructed on Cedarbridge Avenue by Mr. Moshe Shvarzblat of Cedarbridge Properties LLC, is aiming to give Lakewood and surrounding communities easier access to professionals in the medical arts and other areas of expertise, and eliminate the burden of traveling long distances – such as to North Jersey, NY, or Philadelphia – for care.

The event, which comes after several years of planning for the building, was attended by members of the Lakewood Industrial Commission, Bikur Cholim of Lakewood, members of the construction company RAY Builder, and other guests.
