Two Frum DPW employees this week again found Shaimos dumped in school recycling bins.

Shalom Egert and Mordechai Holder were doing their rounds when they spotted the Shaimos inside the bins, and immediately removed them.

“We called the school administration to let them know, and we gave them to the camp director,” says Holder.

Inside the bins, the men found Sidurim and other items which require proper disposal.

Earlier this month, tens of Seforim were found dumped in a local school recycling bin, as earlier reported on TLS.

It seems the recent incidents could be due to the change in cleaning crews during the summer camp season.

“Please remind all schools that with the Summer season here and new cleaning crews cleaning their building, to make sure no Shaimos is thrown out,” says Egert.
