PHOTOS – FIRST LOOK: Gourmet Glatt Mega Store to Open Tuesday

gourmet glatt openingGourmet Glatt has just announced first to TLS that they will be opening their new mega-store this coming Tuesday, at 1:00 PM.

What is Gourmet Glatt?

Gourmet Glatt explains, “Imagine if your favorite butcher, your most decadent dessert cravings, and your go-to sushi counter, the best bakery, the freshest fruit store and the largest grocery store were all located in the same place. Add to that fantasy your Thursday night cholent needs, and well, sometimes dreams do come true.”

This flagship one stop shop will be opening in the Gourmet Glatt Plaza (formerly ShopRite), adding location to its list of conveniences. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place January 19th at 1 p.m. to inaugurate the grocery’s grand opening and will be graced by many local dignitaries.

“Gourmet Glatt —the largest chain of all-kosher mega-supermarkets in the United States — will feature large and spacious aisles, helpful and friendly staff, over a dozen checkout lanes, the best customer service and so much more,” says Gourmet Glatt. “The large parking lot and convenience will cut unnecessary hassle from your usual errands.”

“Gourmet Glatt prides itself on the value and selection of their goods—particularly their fresh produce and meat. With the largest selection of cuts and a lavish variety for any occasion, every possible kosher poultry and meat will be at your fingertips. The quality is unparalleled…as are the prices!”

“Quality, efficiency, and value— what more can you ask for?”

I absolutely love this store! Always shopped there when I used to live in Brooklyn. Was so excited when I heard it was coming to town! Wish you much success!

why is it neccesary for outsiders(people who live outside of lakewood )to come bully their way into town? there is a strong importance on patronizing those who live here if you are not sure ask your rabbi about this. now let the stones come at me

Seems like from the pics that not only do they have pricing but also have the per unit pricing like they do in shop rite and all major stores. That is super helpful!! Thanks! Hope other stores catch on to that as well…

#13- I have been saying the same thing for a very long time. My family and I bl”n will continue to shop in the established stores in town that the owners have done and continue to do more for this town then any of these newcomers will ever be able to do.

@daas Torah-well said! I hope they have the quality, cleaniness, and value (QSC) as they say and stick with it. Lotta stores in lakewood have cleaned up their acts as a result of these stores coming in, I hope though it brings some lower prices as well. Much hatzlacha!
