  1. People, use ur head. even if u have a huge tank, say 20 gallons, the increase will only cost you $4.60, so if u have to wait 15 minutes, to save $4.60, ur saying ur time is worth a grand total of $18.40 an hour. Thats time you can spend with your family, or learning or doing other big Mitzvos. Do urself a favor, fill up tomorrow.

  2. I’m afraid a lot of people are going to be listening to command post and we are going to have long lines tomorrow at the pump. I think I’m going to wait for the day after tomorrow…or the day after the day after…

  3. Yeh I was thinking the same thing. Why would someone do that . A large tank of 20 gallons means the tank wad basically empty. Were all these car on empty coincidently today???????

  4. @command Post, ur 100% correct. I was gonna say the same thing. For the vast majority of us, it’s just not worth it to waste time on this. Very sad.

  5. @command post My car is on empty may I have permission to fill up tonight even though I’ll only save 4.60? For someone who is careful with how he spends who are you to judge

  6. Mezonosav shel Odom are determined on Rosh Hashana. Not dmei Mezonosov. The Aibeshter takes price hikes into account. You will receive your gas allotment for the year regardless.

  7. Once again we have fallen victim to the media hype.
Yes, it will be a pinch on our pockets. But hey, this is nearly reminiscent of the 1973 Oil Embargo! Or waiting on line for houts after Hurricane Sandy!

Chill out, people! Walk to work one day – or two – and you will be surprised how much gas you save! Better for the environment, too!

  8. Hey stop cheating the Democrats out of their tax money!
Do you know that if they don’t get the money that they predicted from the .23 cents that every 3 months they can raise the tax to meet the money. So keep wasting that gas the Democrats need your money.
