In at least two incidents, the deer were severely injured and needed to be put down.
Use extra caution when driving – especially at night – during the mating season.

It is sad. There is nowhere for them to go. I see them in my cul-de-sac a lot; eating trees, grass, etc. Would feel really bad if I every hit one; however, it, at times, is unavoidable. On the back roads, they cross in front of me a lot. I’m a slow driver this time of year. No problems yet.
Why can’t we deport them. …just like we are about to deport the illegals in this country.
If we continue to cut down trees and destroy forest areas, we’ll only exacerbate the problem which may chas v’shalom result in serious
accidents.
I seen a few in oc park. Maybe we as a town can get the funds to move them to the park.
Just Yesterday in the middle of the afternoon on the Garden State Parkway North by Neptune I was driving and 2 Deer come out from my left & one of them a very large deer runs accross the Parkway right in front of me, Baruch HaShem I had brand new brake pads and rotor discs installed on my car just 2 weeks ago & us older people don’t drive too quick , I missed the deer by yards & the deer made it acrosss the 4 or 5 lane Parkway.
Yes me too was driving last night on the parkway and a deer came flying across the parkway i was doing 80! #flyingfastdeer
That is why my wife does not always like driving at night!
I was driving in rural Howell one evening and narrowly avoided running over a large TURTLE! Please look out for wildlife. They did nothing wrong to deserve an untimely harsh death.
