PHOTOS: Chief Rabbi of Iran Visits Skulener Rebbe of Lakewood

Rabbi Yehuda Gerami, The Chief Rabbi of Iran, who is currently in the United States as part of a special visit raising awareness for the Jews of Iran, organized by Merkos 302 at Chabad Headquarters, concluded his visit with a series of special meetings.

During his Lakewood visit, Rabbi Gerami spoke at length about his efforts on behalf of the Jewish community in Iran and, in particular, regarding the longstanding encouragement of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice-Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch and Rabbi Berel Lazar, Chief Rabbi of Russia.

The meetings were facilitated by Rabbi Avraham Lebovic, director Merkoz Dovrei Lashon Hakodesh of Lakewood and Rabbi Chaim Meizlish, director of Heichal Menachem Lakewood, and Rabbi Shmuel Naparstek, the Chabad Shliach in Jackson.
