As reported on Status Erev Shabbos, about an hour before Shabbos, a neighborhood in Lakewood lost power due to a construction site mishap.

To make matters worse, one of the neighbors was making a Simcha and was among those out of power.

Chaveirim jumped into action and loaded up generators, along with the large mobile Misaskim-donated generator unit which can power up multiple homes.

Until minutes before Shabbos, members worked to connect and power up all the homes to ensure all had power for Shabbos.

Power was restored to the area early Shabbos morning.
