YS Gold. Reb Shloime Werdiger, Chairman of the Board of Agudath Israel of America, is known for his dedication to the welfare of Yidden in America, as well as doing everything for the cause of Torah Yiddishkeit in Eretz Yisroel.
Earlier this week, Reb Shloime made a special trip to Eretz Yisroel to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to signal American Orthodox Jewry’s support for his government which has a strong charedi coalition within it.
This is not the first time Mr. Werdiger has met with members of the Knesset. This visit is a follow- up to the whirlwind encounters and meetings that he had earlier this year on a special visit to Eretz Yisroel.
As part of his visit, Mr. Werdiger also met with Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.
