VIDEO & PHOTOS: Chai Lifeline Lakewood van bursts into flames after striking deer

2016-11-04-photo-00000020A Chai Lifeline van burst into flames after striking a deer late last night, TLS has learned.

The van was reportedly transporting a patient from CHOP around midnight last night when it struck a deer on the 195,  near the Route 9 exit. The driver pulled over at the first available opportunity, but not before the vehicle burst into flames.

The driver quickly got out of the van and removed the patient. Both were unharmed.

The vehicle was destroyed in the fire.
