The Lakewood community is gearing up for the evening of chizuk for Chai Lifeline Lakewood’s Dinner at Ateres Chana (Bais Faiga Hall) on Wednesday, July 12th.
Numerous pre-dinner events are taking place throughout Lakewood, affording the Kehilah a chance to hear first-hand from grateful parents how Chai Lifeline fulfills a vital role in helping families function while dealing with serious illness. In the words of one father, “they think of our needs before we think of them and then provide everything with the utmost sensitivity and professionalism”.
Last night there was a special event in the Harvard/Park area hosted by Shimmy Balsam and Duvid Aryeh Braun. Rabbi Sruli Fried MSW, NJ Regional Director spoke to the overflowing crowds about the impact Chai Lifeline has on Lakewood families. He then introduced Rav Shalom Lowy who shared words of chizuk with the crowd and emphasized how important it is to support Chai Lifeline Lakewood for all the work they do.
This Sunday night there will be a parlor meeting in Somerset Walk, hosted by Eliezer Finkel at 57 Canary Drive at 7:30. Additional meetings are scheduled for Stolin, Harmony Farms, Brookwood, Ocean Point, Westgate, Tuscany, and BMG neighborhoods.
