Chai Lifeline Lakewood hosted a rejuvenating Women’s Spa Event this week, offering participants an evening of relaxation and camaraderie while recognizing the importance of self-care and support for women who frequently handle a significant amount, with great determination and strength in their everyday lives.
The event took place at the Days Hotel in Toms River, providing attendees with a tranquil escape, including doctor’s appointments, grueling hospital stays, and the overall stress of managing medical crises.
From an incredible ambiance to a full spread of delicious food, participants enjoyed various spa services, such as massages and facials designed to promote wellness and rejuvenation. In addition to indulging in spa treatments, attendees had the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, forming invaluable bonds of support and understanding. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and moments of shared strength and resilience.
“My wife is feeling amazing this morning! The fact that she was able to be pampered, relaxed, and spend time with other women in similar situations made her feel better than she has in over a year,” shared a husband.
Chai Lifeline is committed to supporting every member of the family faced with illness and crisis, providing them with the resources and community they need to thrive.
“We are incredibly grateful to Chai Lifeline for organizing this meaningful event,” said one participant. “Their dedication to supporting us during difficult times has made a profound difference in my life.”
Chai Lifeline extends its gratitude to the incredible vendors for donating their time and resources to this event: Avery and Jays, Circa Pizza, and Lechem Bakery, as well as to over the 100 vendors who generously provided spa services, miniatures, salads, pastries, and so much more. Thank you to Fraidel Sommer from Mary Kay for sponsoring the beautiful cosmetic packages and Score Spaces for donating the beautiful Tefilos books for the mothers.
