by C.M. Shoppers entering Lowe’s in Howell yesterday were greeted by the echo of hammers pounding as a group of Chai Lifeline warriors and their siblings were treated to an exciting woodworking workshop.
The workshop was led by the famous Rabbi Yisroel Braunstein along with Vince from Lowe’s. Each boy received a personalized apron and protective goggles, and got to work building a model car or wooden picture frame. The camaraderie was tangible as the boys helped each other, assisted by Chai Lifeline’s devoted volunteers. The boys proudly went home with their projects and with wonderful memories.
“Chai Lifeline thanks the wonderful staff at Lowe’s who so graciously hosted the workshop, giving of their time and skills to enable all the boys to have a grand time,” Chai Lifeline said. “Special thanks to Shloime Milworm.”
