PHOTOS: Brick Mayor Honors Police Department for Brick Police Appreciation Week

bpdThe Brick Township Police Department was honored last night by the Mayor and the Township Council for Brick Police appreciation week. Mayor John Ducey presented the Proclamation to Police Chief Nils Bergquist declaring February 15th through February 21st 2015 Brick Police Appreciation Week.

Mayor John Ducey stated in the Proclamation, “The Brick Township Police Department consist of 129 sworn members who, under the leadership of Police Chief Rick Bergquist , work every day of the year to keep Brick Township safe and make our hometown one of the best in New Jersey to live, work and raise a family.”

Council President Paul Mummolo presented Chief Nils Bergquist with the Township Council Resolution also declaring February 15th through February 21st Brick Police week.

“The Brick Township Police Department appreciates the recognition by the Mayor and Township Council and will continue to serve our community with pride and integrity,” the police department said today.
