Lakewood police officers arriving for the Thanksgiving night shift today were surprised to find a meal prepared for them, along with a note.
The meal was prepared by local resident Ben Inzelbuch.
The note read, “2-12 is crunch time during Thanksgiving, and probably the hardest time. While everyone else is spending time with their families and having a good time, 2-12 shift is responding to 911 hang ups and motor vehicle accidents. This just a small token of appreciation.”
Beautiful Bentzi!
That’s so up your alley. Hakaras Hatov to those who are part of the family, yet not with their family during the most family oriented time, due to their dedication. A real kiddush Hashem. Keep up the great work!
