PHOTOS: Barrel in Road Prompts Response from Haz-Mat Team

PHOTOS: Police have reopened the intersection Park Avenue and East 7th Street after the Berkeley Haz-Mat Team determined a barrel in the roadway to be unharmful.

As earlier reported on on News Alerts, police shut the intersection after locating the unmarked barrel, containing an unknown substance.

  1. that container was sitting there since Monday. All this activity, manpower and equipment and they left it in the street when they were done. No cones or tape just left in the roadway for someone to hit. Brilliant.
