The event is taking place now at the Township’s Auditorium.

At the event, among other items, it was announced that there are plans over the next year to open Vermont from Chestnut to Route 70.

It’s taking me too long to get there due to the traffic on rt. 9 and Clifton is backed up all the way.

If they had something you really wanted you would have been there!!
it must have been not SO bad.
Lets be honest everyone loves to complain but its not that bad ALL the time.
Every town and city has times of bad traffic and Lakewood, always, for over 30 years had times of bad traffic. There are cars coming from other townships passing through too. As you see on a Sunday or holiday traffic isn’t as bad.
Of course we need to fix this issue but lets stop blaming all of our troubles in life on daily periodic traffic.
Maybe, while this traffic issue is being worked on, its time to leave a little bit earlier to schedule in the delays and not to be stressed while it takes the extra time to get to where you are heading.
