swearing inPHOTOS: The Township today held their annual police and civilian awards ceremony, honoring the individuals who have gone above and beyond their call of duty for the betterment of the Lakewood Township during the year of 2014.

Also at the event, held in the Municipal auditorium, the Lakewood Police Department swore in the newest police officers, and made several promotions.

The following six officers were promoted to Sergeant: Sgt. Joseph Gregg, Sgt. Jason Pederson, Sgt. Leroy Marshall, Sgt. Nathanial Montgomery, Sgt. Leon Woods and Sgt. Jeannette Shimonovich.
