Dozens of men and women in Eretz Yisroel are in the midst of learning a new trade, one that has provided historic parnassah success for their brothers and sisters in the United States.

Men and women of diverse ages and backgrounds – litvish, chassidish, Sephardic, Mizrahi – packed the Jerusalem Gardens hotel in Yerushalayim on Wednesday for the Comprehensive Amazon Seminar hosted by the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce’s Israel division.

The program is an A-Z two day bootcamp on how residents of Eretz Yisroel can manage a successful Amazon business in the United States. The Chamber helped build the American Orthodox Jewish Amazon industry, which has been recognized even by secular media for its historic success. The Chamber is now introducing these historic opportunities to the Anglo-Israeli community, which faces unique parnassah challenges.

Renowned American Amazon entrepreneurs Avi and Yosef Rosenthal of Rosy Deals LLC delivered a series of English language workshops, which will continue through Thursday. The series was offered by the Chamber at a steeply discounted rate as a community service.

Duvi Honig, Founder and CEO of the Chamber, has been struck by the response he has received during the seminar’s first day alone. One participant mentioned that he learned more that day than he did from a private business mentor that he previously hired, which cost him thousands of dollars. You could see the energy and motivation in the room, as entrepreneurs are already actively working on starting Amazon businesses and/or hiring others.
