Amerigroup New Jersey today awarded grants, totaling $18,000, to three key community Lakewood organizations: Chai Lifeline of Lakewood, Tomchei Shabbos, and the Hatzolah of Lakewood.
“We view this as the start of a long term partnership working together to serve the community of Lakewood,” the company said.
John Koehn, Plan President of Amerigroup New Jersey presented a check to Rabbi Sruli Fried, LMSW, Director, Chai Lifeline New Jersey at their offices, as well as to Hatzolah and Tomchei Shabbos.
“Since 1986, Amerigroup has been working in NJ to provide quality health coverage to its NJ FamilyCare members,” the company said. “The Health Plan has been focused on building its presence in the Lakewood community, working hard to understand the needs of both the community and its providers. Amerigroup is proud to partner with these key organizations in Lakewood and offer them these modest sponsorships to support the hard work they do daily to serve the community.”
