PHOTOS: Ambassador David Friedman signs up for letters in Unity Sefer Torah

This afternoon, on his way to Israel, Ambassador David Friedman stopped by Chabad of the Airport to sign up his family for letters in the unity Sefer Torah.

During the sign-up, he also mentioned to director of Chabad of the Airports Rabbi Yossi Rapp that he often learns from his recently-received Tanya printed in Trump heights, Israel.

Registration for the Unity Torah can be done online at Unityletter.com or for children at KidsTorah.org.

  1. This is very nice. However I am very bothered that Ambassador Friedman does not generally wear his Yarmulke at public events. He wore it at his hearings in the USA to become confirmed as ambassador, but since then I have not seen it. Maybe I am naive, but I would imagine that an Orthodox Jew serving in that post would proudly keep his yarmulke on.
