1. So many big crashes there recently. Maybe because of the power lines blocking the traffic light for people on hope chapel, which has never been corrected.

   • It has nothing to do with the wires. 95% of the accidents happen here when cars making the left onto hope are hit by cars going east on county line. Many of these accidents are caused by people racing to beat the light.

2. The county needs to change the turn signal for the cars turning onto Hope Rd southbound. Once thru traffic on County Line has the green light all turns should be stopped. Pretty much every accident is caused by cars turning onto Hope Rd. being hit by cars going east on County Line. LPD needs to monitor the intersection as well with unmarked cars since every signal change during busy times have a minimum of 2 cars blowing the red light. Finally to whoever took these pictures you were clearly trespassing on someones property because it is clearly marked with no trespassing signs, the top of one sign is visible in the lower right corner by the telephone pole in the 4/5th pictures.

4. It’s the poor driver’s that shouldn’t be allowed to make left-handed turns. That offense should be stated on their licences.

5. For those of you who don’t understand how yellow lights work. If you see someone waiting in the intersection to use the yellow for their left turn STOP!! 3 cars should easily be able to make the left and clear the intersection. The problem here is that this would only work if drivers on County Line were considerate so…….. never gonna happen. People can’t figure out how to NOT gridlock so my hopes of proper left turn etiquette is non existent.

6. Loreli you are so correct. That is the way I was taught to drive 30 years ago. Many drivers leave me wondering if that is still taught today.
