PHOTOS: Accident involving motorcyclist in Lakewood

A motorcyclist was luckily not seriously injured in an accident in Lakewood this afternoon.

The accident happened shortly after 4:00 PM at the intersection of Route 9 and Cross Street.

As the summer approaches and motorcyclists take to the streets, both drivers and motorcyclists are reminded to share the road and use extra caution.

  1. That’s’ why motorcycles don’t have seatbelts! Better he should get thrown off than to fall to the ground with it.

  2. That intersection is horrible! It’s even worse coming from Chestnut – people in the “right turn only” lane, ESPECIALLY school busses, go straight to Cross cutting people off who are going straight from the “straight ahead or left turn” lane. I drive there every day and many times almost got sideswiped!

  3. To Robert. Even the licensed and insured drivers on the road who don’t care how they drive shouldn’t be on the road.
