  1. Child was not injured at all…..he was not struck by a vehicle….he tried to squeeze between 2 moving vehicles with out good brakes and no helmet and 2 boys on the scooter….and lost control….Parents please have a talk with your children.

  2. Enough with all the electric scooters and bikes. They are Klei Mashchis that parents are giving to their kids. And helmets????? Where are they????????

  3. People dont learn. No text is important enough to be your last. No drive on dangerous scooter is important enough to be your last, nut people are still texting and driving, and the kids are still on their dangerous toys

  4. I can’t really comment on this particular incident, but yesterday when I was driving down New Hampshire at a very busy time, two teenage bochurim literally zipped across New Hampshire on their scooters right between oncoming cars! And not even at a street corner! If the driver in front of me hadn’t been alert and slowed down just in time, those boys would have been very badly hurt, or worse. And when I glanced over at them as I passed, they were cheering for themselves and acting so proud that they made it across the busy street without getting hurt! Kids who don’t think straight and don’t have a sense of responsibility toward their own lives should NOT be riding bikes or scooters. Parents, teach your kids basic safety, even if (especially if!) they are already teenagers! Don’t wait until something happens to them, ch’v!

    • I know someone (when I was growing up in sleepy lkwd 30+ years ago) who, if he’d seen such a behavior, would’ve followed those boys & taken away their scooters (or in those days, bikes) & driven them home to get a good scolding!!

  5. attention parents: this is YOUR responsibility. a few years ago i picked up 4 frum teenagers who were looking for a lift. when they got into my car, i told them that they all needed to wear seat belts, even in the back seat. you know what happened? everyone of those boys walked out of the car! who but you is supposed to teach your kids safe behavior? not the other drivers, not the police. if your kids are old enough to cross streets, to ride bikes and scooters, the drivers have a right to assume that you have trained your kids to be safe just the way you train them to make brochos

  6. instead of making 2 juneteenth so that more killings can happen chas veshalom he should be studying and regulating the scooter/segway/ebike industry which is basically the wild west with children playing part
