PHOTO: Woman flooded with calls after Husband’s prank letter in Shul goes Viral [UPDATED]

sign prankA man looking to prank his wife didn’t expect it to go this viral, or what happened next.

The husband reportedly hung up a sign in Shul advertising ‘Wife needs a break – looking to be invited for some Shvuos meals’, and then snapped a picture of it, sent it to his wife and took it down.

His wife had a good laugh, and decided to send to some friends, but when you send something out these days, the chances of it remaining private is out the window. And what happened next wasn’t expected.

The picture went viral, and when people honestly thought they needed a place for Shvuos, the wife, whose real number was on the ad, reportedly received dozens of calls offering them a place to eat.

The woman tells TLS she received phone calls from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Baltimore, and over 100 hang-up calls (apparently from people who wanted to see if it was a real number).
