A vandal used a rock to shatter the display window of a Lakewood jewelry shop on Friday, authorities said.
The proprietors of the Sparkles jewelry shop on Second Street arrived to their shop Friday morning to find the large display window completely gone, and the shattered glass all over.
Police were notified, and upon arrival reportedly found the rock used in the vandalism inside the store, though it appeared that nothing was stolen.
CSI is investigating the incident.

No alarm?
Is the store not alarmed ?
Didn’t steal anything?? He should go to jail for stupidity.
It’s all fake jewelry no wonder they decided not to take anything
Even costume jewelry has a value – $20-$60 per item, no. Small items are easier to steal than for example t-shirts which also have a resale value. If nothing was stolen Thank G-d for that. I hope they are insured for the cost of replacing the window.
