PHOTO: Township to Add New Parking Spaces to Municipal Parking Lot

The township will be adding more parking spaces to the municipal lot downtown, DPW Supervisor Tony Arrechi tells TLS.

Crews have begun removing trees and other obstacles in the lot between 3rd and 4th streets to make room for an additional 22 parking spots, Arrechi says.

Construction is expected to begin next week.

all these new spaces will be needed as DB’s expansion is set to eliminate several parking spaces. we will come out about even.

Cutting down the trees will create more flooding in Lakewood.Trees are needed to suck up all the rain that we get here.Due to all of the development going on around town,it will not be too long before Lakewood is just called Lake.
