  1. Relax. It’s legal and a good idea.
Some ppl park on the avenue then go off to work taking up that spot for 8 hours, leaving no spots for shoppers. Then the local stores are negatively effected.
There are parking lots for all day parking.

  2. Tire-chalking is unconstitutional, court says
The court on Monday ruled tire-chalking unconstitutional, a touching of another’s property akin to police efforts to track drug dealers by placing a GPS tracker on their vehicle.Apr 24, 2019

  3. The sixth circuit ruled it illegal. It is not proven illegal yet in NJ. However, if you choose to fight it all the way up, it will probably be eventually ruled illegal in NJ, using that ruling as precedent.

  4. If this is legal, next time you see a parked police cruiser dump a bucket of mud over it. We will yet see how legal it is. And if you tell me, but this is just a tiny mark. Is there a difference between stealing from a dollar store or five below?
